Just 5 minutes ago I spotted a new option in Facebook when liking a post:
This could be a limited test (we're all guinea pigs on social media after all, right?), or could it be Zuckerberg's way of spreading a little more positivity into the world?
Whatever the reason, gratitude is an often underused yet highly valued commodity. Sure, clicking a response on something in your Facebook feed might not change the world directly, but we'll take anything that encourages a thankful sentiment. Every time someone sees this flower icon it may prompt another human to think positively, not just about what they're responding to, but more broadly, and more often.
Surely that's something we should all be grateful for?
