A success story with four paws

We work with a range of causes at Benojo- from those involved in the health space to organisations who work with the environment, and of course, animal lovers.

We recently collaborated with the Animal Welfare League (AWL), a long-standing Australian charity that provides expert care to surrendered, neglected and abandoned companion animals across New South Wales. They strive to give all companion animals a safe and loving home, and Lulu was no exception.

Lulu's story

Lulu is a gorgeous Pomeranian who sadly faced a life-threatening condition. The only way to combat her illness was with urgent Portosystemic Shunts Surgery. This surgery is extremely expensive (around $10,000) and well beyond the means of a charity organisation.

The Benojo solution

Benojo's innovative giving platform sparked the interest of the AWL. Our platform allowed the AWL to create a profile and upload their campaign which could then be shared throughout the Benojo hub as well as through their social platforms- meaning the potential reach of the campaign grew instantly. In addition, our platform would make it easy for them to track the progress of Lulu's campaign. These insights could easily be used to target the campaign towards certain audience segments while providing valuable feedback for future campaigns.

A happy ending

The AWL utilised their campaign across Benojo's platform, creating a Facebook post that linked directly to Lulu's campaign page. The results couldn't be better - the campaign garnered 50 donors of which almost all were new acquisitions!

And the best part? Donations to the campaign exceeded the $5000 goal!
